S.O.S (Still On Street) is presenting the Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest in conjunction with Quest TV – Nigeria’s nay Africa’s premier fashion, Beauty & style Television Lifestyle channel; set up with the express aim of putting the Nigerian & Afrocentric style on the world map. The aim of the organizers of Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest is to campaign against breast cancer and violence against women.

The Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest is an online picture modeling contest and a talents exhibition concept in search of Nigeria’s Most Enterprising young lady. The concept of the Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest is unique and first of its kind, in the sense that contestants don’t have to be professional models neither do they have to be six foot tall nor extremely slim in other to participate, the immaculate beauty of their face and picture makes them eligible to contest.

The Objectives of The Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest is;

a. To create an online community for Nigerians at home and abroad.

b. To celebrate beauty amongst Nigerians.

c. To discover and promote talents in the modeling industry.

d. To provide an exciting platform for youths and business to showcase their multifaceted talents in the beauty and fashion industry.

The Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest will feature the best from Nigeria and Africa’s Modeling, Fashion and Entertainment industry with an outstanding achievement in area of specializations. The Event will commence with a Launch Party in major cities in Nigeria and the Grand Finale Event will feature a Red Carpet Reception-Vaudeville, and the presentation of crowns to the eventual winners.

To register for the Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest, Applicants are to send sms to a short code (35070). In return, they will get a text message containing details of registration & voting procedures. Voting will be open to the general public via sms and on the web.

The general requirement for Miss Facebook Nigeria Picture Contest is Nigerian females who have a passion for fashion, beauty and becoming a role model worthy of emulation by other youths.

However, all participants must be Nigerians or Nigerians in Diaspora, be 18 and above, must have an active Account & Pictures @ http://facebook.com and speak at least one international language (English/French or A Nigerian Language)
