God’s Own Radical is an upcoming Hiphop duo with a bias for Christian music based in Lagos State, Nigeria and are in the process of promoting our debut single.
God’s Own Radicals employ a sound that is distinctly Nigerian with thumping basslines and driving beats, mixing indigenous language with the English language in their songs. The songs cover a wide variety of subjects with emphasis on the praise of the Most High God.
The video of their hit song ‘Praise Him’ was shot by NMVA 09 nominee; AK One and is receiving airplay on most Tv stations around Nigeria including Nigezie (showing on cable in Nigeria n the UK) Soundcity showing on cable as well as local stations like Silverbird tv, AIT, NTA, TVC amongst others. The Video features appearances from Biglo, Kage, Sheeba (Bigz Girls).

God’s Own Radicals was formed in 2001 when 3 undergraduates of the then Ogun State University met at a local fellowship. The trio of Daddy D, Don – L n Donna-T started out miming songs of popular artistes and progressed into writing and recording their own materials.
