Rich Marvin Chieme Akuba popularly known as Morachi Hapuya hails from Umuezukwe Awo. Omamma, Imo State. Morachi shot to the limelight with his ‘Hapuya Lyk Dat’ video which was an MTV number 1 top hit for months and topped music charts across major media outlets including BET, MTVBase Africa and SoundCity.
Morachi is currently working on his new album titled ‘Mezebility’ which should shake the music industry and some of the songs that has been released from the forthcoming album has been instant hits. Morachi Hapuya ‘the mezebu master’ is a recording and performing artist under his personal record label, Mo-Inc Records.

It is quite obvious music has always been Morachi’s dreams. Morachi started professional music in 2000 with a video titled ‘All About Mo’ which enjoyed massive airplay on quite a number of media houses.
Morachi made a big come back in 2007 with a smashing hit single ‘Hapuya Lyke Dat’, a song that stayed on the Mtv Base Chart for 8weeks and every indigenous chart across the country.
With cultures of techno, afro beat,pop and dance hall the new single titled ‘No Dull Me’ is currently banging in radios and clubs all over Nigeria.
