Lydia Olufisayo Olanrewaju (born 27 October), better known as pHisayo (pronounced “fee-sah-yoh,”), is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, of Abeokuta descent in Ogun state. pHisayo was born in Kaduna state, Nigeria. Her given name Olufisayo, means God has added to Joy
Her first impulse is to sing. She wrote her first song ‘Take Me Home’ at age four but didn’t think seriously about singing for the public until 2005 when she worked with Samcleff to produce her first single, ‘Gbemileke’.
