Spiritman Kareem was brought up in a musical family. Growing up Spiritman had music constantly performed around him, being that his father is a highly respected and famous singer/musician in Nigeria.

Spiritman would play on stage alongside his father and band at big events in London, with Congas, shakers and other percussive instruments.
